Thomas Charles Aldrich – Operations Manager

Aldrich is currently a junior Business Administration major at the University of Southern California. While working at his family’s automotive business, he has gained valuable experience and knowledge in business operations management. Aldrich worked closely in operations management at REDACTED, for the past eight summers. He has often earned “Salesman of the month” awards and is a proud asset of the company. Additionally, Aldrich has worked with finance and insurance in the automobile business, which has helped him learn a great deal about the business management. 

After graduation, Aldrich plans to continue working at the family business in order to improve current operations and create future opportunities. He also intends to start his own business due to his avid interest in entrepreneurship. Aldrich’s current project at USC with Trojan Grains allows him to put his ideas into practice.  He is in charge of Business Operations due to his strength in the industry.  His favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and he always enjoys a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice each morning.

Ze Zhang – Public Relations and Nutritional Specialist

Zhang is a junior at the University of Southern California, double majoring in Business Administration and Biology. She grew up on three different continents and is well-versed in diversity and culture. Having experienced the breakfast habits of Asia and Europe, she brings to Trojan Grains a holistic perspective of world cuisine fit for SC’s highly diverse population. Before she came to USC, Zhang had a strong business management background from managing her high school bookstore. As the manager, she created a successful marketing campaign to reinvent the bookstore’s image. Furthermore, Zhang was responsible for negotiating beneficial agreements with publishers and distributors in providing inventory for the bookstore. As the Director for Public Relations at Trojan Grains, Zhang is responsible for executing marketing campaigns and managing online communication and advertisements.

Interestingly, due to her strong science background, Zhang originally joined Trojan Grains as the nutritional specialist. She has worked closely with her mentors at the National Institutes of Health in designing a balanced, healthy, and still tasty menu for Trojan Grains. She recommends the Honey Bunches of Oats with strawberries for anyone looking for a healthy but extremely flavorful cereal in the morning.

 Angela Lee – Marketing and Research Director

Lee, a USC senior, was born and raised in Southern California and is quite familiar with the business interests of the residents in the region. As a commuter, Lee understands the time constraints of such students and is always looking for ways to improve the inflexible situation and time schedule commuter students must endure. When she noticed the lack of healthy and convenient breakfast options at USC, she joined the Trojan Grains group to develop a new alternative. Working with Cangemi, Hamilton, Aldrich, and Zhang, Lee helped create exactly what she was looking for: the wholesome, convenient breakfast choices at Trojan Grains.

Majoring in both communications and Italian, Lee has a strong background in communication and public relations. As the marketing and Research Director at Trojan Grains, Lee has brought new and innovative ideas for reaching out to college students in promoting the company and its products. In addition to being the Marketing director for Trojan Grains, she has also worked at a lifestyle public relations firm in Beverly Hills, CA, where she continuously participated in marketing activities. Of all the different flavors of cereals at Trojan Grains, Lee’s personal favorite is Cocoa Krispies.
