coastal regions, united states, december 2004 - march 2005

since returning from australia in november, i've been bouncing b/w coasts and i took some pictures. unfortunately, i've yet to learn how to take pleasing pictures of the east coast; it is not well-represented.

why did no one ever tell me OSTRICH LAND exists? just outside solvang on our way to palo alto in february, timmy and i discovered it. i am doing my part by telling you abt it.
steph and kurt invited me over for dinner, forced me to assemble their furniture and fed me sedatives until i agreed to sit for this picture.

kurt took lauren and me to death valley on my birthday and we saw wild flowers. we also saw other things but this is a picture of wild flowers.
we also saw the return of lake manly.
this picture is for mom or anyone else who can't fight the temptation to have it blown up lifesize and hang it as wallpaper.
this is a frozen lake in massachusetts in march. the lake was still frozen even though it was march. when did lakes get start hibernating?
