A perl proxy checker (ill written)
*Update:*
You have to modify this to use the new LWP, which changed a lot since I wrote this. I switched to Python for quite some time and lost the interest in maintaining this little script.

Have a site restricted in China which you want to browse? Or you are in China but have to use proxies to browse outside? There are no Proxy Hunter under Linux? (This afternoon I found YAPH on sourceforge, but it is a C project.) Here is my ill written scripts to check proxies for you. I did not use LWP::Parallel::UserAgent because it seems having no proxy method. I have no time to write document for my scripts, but I think they are straight forward enough to be understood.
*Remember*
1. Do NOT give it too long proxylist to process, it would greatly slow down your machine (I should have reniced these processes. But I simply have no time to do it). 2. Modify the web page you would like to test against.

A LaTex template for USC's ALI 231 course assignments
It is written by myself because Google did not tell me there was one. On page 9 of ALI 231 reader there are detailed definition of so-called "professional manner", though severely aberrent from default beautiful typesetting of LaTex. Now there comes one! I unfortunately have to hand adapt it according to the requirment, including the 1 inch margins, left hand justified, right hand ragged with hyphenation (not required but I like it.), Roman fonts, four line title, page numbered except the first page. graphic labels, CBE reference will be here after I use it in later assignments. You are fortunate to have one ready for use.
