Black Op Radio-Dec. 22

-Multiple interpretations, contradictory evidentiary threads have to be carefully reconciled

-Disinformationists: Gary Mack, McAdams, Posner

-Problem with Wikipedia-Len says we should not trust any of it (e.g., it said that Prouty had never met with Garrison; links to McAdams’ site)

-Moderate Repubs. and Democs. Rejects Alaska drilling; Cheney casts tiebreaking vote to take 40 million dollars from needy

-Unlike BBC, CNN runs Saddam trial with 20-minute delay to cut out controversial parts (defense attorneys objected to this)

-If Saddam is responsible for the crimes, is Bush responsible for Abu Graib?

-Many on both sides of aisle are upset about NSA spying on US citizens (unauthorized)-even a conservative fellow in MN

-No paper trail elections in US-(but US has gall to attack other nations as undemocratic, etc.)

-Gov. has bought 2 billion of anti-bird flu Tamiflu (financial connection to Rumsfeld)-but it did not work on 2 patients in Asia

-DU contamination throughout Middle East (half life of billions of years)

-New York Times-covert surveillance of protestors, peace groups by NYPD (infiltrate, even carry posters, wear proper outfits, etc.)

-progress-Diebold has pulled out of North Carolina rather than expose its source code (suggests there is something fishy in the code, as source codes are not usually so secretive)-CEO resigned, other attacks on Diebold
