I am a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Economics at USC and also obtained an M.S. in Mathematical Finance during my doctoral studies here. Prior to USC, I studied Economics at Fudan University in Shanghai.

My research focuses on Applied Econometrics, Program Evaluations, Health Economics and Finance. My dissertation topic is "Essays on Panel Data Analysis" with applications on HIV testing, health insurance and housing price modeling. My doctoral research is being conducted under the supervision of Cheng HsiaoHyungsik Roger Moon, Jeffrey B. NugentNeeraj Sood Yongheng Deng, Robert Dekle and John Ham.

My research interests range widely. Besides current works, I am particularly interested in health plan choices, health savings accounts, Asia health policy, disease control, health economics and health outcome research.
