I was born in 1978 at Tainan City, a peaceful and conservative city in south Taiwan. My father was a high school mathematics teacher and my mother was a music teacher. Since my parents were both teachers, they imposed strict discipline on me. I studied very hard in my childhood and teenage.
After high school, I got admission from National Taiwan University, the best college in my country. The electronic industry in Taiwan was promising and offered best career opportunities at that time so I decided to major in Electrical Engineering.
Then I worked as an IC designer in Holtek Semiconductor Inc., where I did much hard work in labs. Later I worked as a field application engineer in WT Microelectronics, where my social skill was improved through contact with clients. Gradually I found my passion in coding and I made up my mind to become a software developer. Then I started saving money for my future study.
Since my wife and I came to US in 2008, we have visited many places around this country. US is a diverse country and also has plenty of natural scenes. We like here so much that we decided to stay. We believe this is the right place for us. Therefore, I decided to start my career in US.
