USC CLUB VOLLEYBALL
About Us
The USC Men's Volleyball Club is a competitive club organization that represents the University of Southern California in collegiate club competition in the Southern California Collegiate Volleyball League (SCCVL) and National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF). Players who play for the USC club team come from competitive high school and club backgrounds, while some members even come the USC varsity team. The club is comprised of two teams containing players who seeks to continue playing competitive volleyball. Each Fall at the beginning of the school year, the club holds tryouts to determine the two teams. The two teams practice throughout the Fall and participate in league games and various tournaments in Spring leading up to a national tournament hosted by the NCVF.
Dues
Each semester the members of the club team pay annual dues that will be announced at the beginning of the semester. These dues cover the cost of competition, traveling, equipment, gym time, and coaching fees.
National Membership
The USC Volleyball Club is not an NCAA regulated team, but rather a member of the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF), an organization run by USA Volleyball and the most competitive collegiate volleyball league in the country outside of the NCAA. The Southern California Collegiate Volleyball League (SCCVL) is one of the most competitive club volleyball leagues in the nation with members including San Diego State, UC San Diego, UCLA, Long Beach State and may more.
