The club welcomes all members of the USC community
to join us in training. We have training workouts open to all
levels of triathletes, from beginner to advanced. Regardless
of your level of fitness or skill level, you will find partners of
comparable ability in the club to help you train and improve.
While members often tailor their individual workout schedules
according to their respective skill level, race distance, and
personal work or study load, club members still try to meet for team
workouts each week for additional motivation and community.
Team members are encouraged to try to make team workouts each week,
as they provide an opportunity to develop cameraderie, improve
motivation, catch up on information, gauge individual progress, and
have fun. The Workout Schedule is subject to change, all changes
will be announced on the USC Tri Yahoo!Group, and additional workouts are occasionally posted on the calendar.
Since it is summer right now, USC Triathlon workouts are on hiatus, but use the
yahoo group to organize workouts with other members
In addition to our training workouts, we can also help members
learn about the sport of triathlon through our club library compiled
from our members, who have contributed links, articles, tips,
training schedules, race reports, and lessons learned to be shared
with other club members. If you would like to obtain
information from the club library, please contact us at
.
Beginners can receive a basic summary to training and racing in our
Triathlon Tutorial.
Note: If you swim, bike, run, lift, stretch, etc. at a specific day/time every week, let the club know!
Feel free to add your workout to the club calendar, post a message on the Yahoo!Group, or
email the entire club via the Triathlon-L listserv...
