The Japanese Student Association of the University of Southern California is a group of USC students who assemble throughout the school year to experience all the Japanese traditional activities and cultures. Our members have a diverse group of students including students taking Japanese in college and those that are simply interested in Japan in general.

All are welcome! We plan activities throughout the schoolyear that are merely bonding activities for fun including bowling, tennis, soccer and various parties as well as those more focused on cultural aspects of Japan, such as karaoke, serving Japanese traditional foods. Our career scouts also work hard to plan events that include Japanese companies coming to campus to recruit students who speak Japanese and/or are looking to work in Japan after graduation.

So if any of that sounds appealing to you, please join us! We are more than happy to help you learn Japanese! We're all friendly people so please don't feel discouraged if your knowledge of Japan or the language of Japanese is limited!
