CHAMPIONS!! The USC team took first place at the U.S. Amateur Team West tournament over President's Day weekend, beating the tournament favorite Hot Tub Timoschenko with a score of 3-1 in the final round. Pictured above (L-R) is International Master Jack Peters, Danyul Lawrence, Blake Phillips, and Sriram Balasubramanian. Nathan Heussenstamm is not pictured but was a strong contributor to the team with three wins and one loss. In addition to a stellar performance by the first team, our third team (How to Train Your Sicilian Dragon) won best U1600 team at the tournament!
