Mehmet Ucal was born in Hyattsville, MD, USA. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2006. Since then, he has been in the Ph.D. Program in the Department of Electrical Engineering - Systems at University of Southern California.
His research interests are in the general areas of communication theory, wireless communication theory and networking, and signal processing.
