Major: Theatre
Year: 2006
Hometown: Annapolis, Maryland
Singing background: Ummm, I used to sing on the mantle when I was 4 years old. Since then I have been in choirs and musicals and taken voice lessons. My friends in high school used to say that I always had a line in a song for everything! I love to sing in the car and really can't help singing out loud when I have my headphones on. Whoops!
Favorite thing about Troy Tones: I love how often I think, "I love Troy Tones!" Not only do I get to sing, but most of my best friends are in the group! What could be better?
Dream job: Considering that I am a theatre major, I would have to say ACTRESS. It would be so amazing to get paid to do what makes me happy! (Yes, I know I am a giant cheese ball!)

Joe Neuhaus
Major: Theatre

Where are you now? I live in Alhambra, which is south of South Pasadena. A lot of people call it Delta Chi's halfway house because all but one of the guys living here is a Delta Chi alum.
What're you up to? I'm currently looking for an agent to help me in my acting career. Unlike most people in this profession, I am not waiting tables. I've done a lot of different things since graduation from being the personal assistant to Marty Panzer (a lyricist who has worked with Barry Manilow) to selling guitars at Guitar Center in Pasadena.
What did you take away from your experiences in Troy Tones? Troy Tones was a highlight of my college life. I think I'm a far better singer and performer now than I was before I was in Troy Tones. I've made friendships that I know will last for a very long time. It's definitely made me a better person as well. There were, as there are in all things, some difficult times, but they were few and far between, and they made me appreciate the fun times a lot more. Becoming a member of Troy Tones was one of the best decisions I've made.

What did you take away from your experiences in Troy Tones? I think Troy Tones has really taught me a lot about working as a team, taking on a leadership role and the importance of friendship and bonding. Being Gig Manager really helped my organizational skills and boosted my confidence about my ability to take on a lot of responsibility. Troy Tones is proof of how a group started from scratch can evolve into something great, and I will always remember that.

What are you up to? Trying to become a singing doctor :)
What did you take away from your experiences in Troy Tones? I very quickly disovered that helping start an a cappella group is anything but easy. However, it was the most rewarding experience of my college career. I'm so happy I got to make music with people who are not only so incredibly talented but also some of my best friends. I'll remember the long nights and reatreat madness the most and can't wait to come back and see how Troy Tones keeps evolving and growing as the years go on.
