THANK YOU. Your 2007-2008 Historian had an amazing year Photoshopping ridiculous splashes, uploading photos, sorting out through all kinds of HTML coding, wrestling with the FTP server, playing April Fools' pranks, and most of all, clicking away at your beautiful faces. Thank you all for your patience, support, and laughs. Exit Histormike. Enter Hsustorian.

Troy Philippines is a student run organization that educates USC Students about the Filipino culture. This is done by our weekly Thursday meetings, our dancing, our community service, and our interaction with other Filipino organizations around the nation. Moreover, Troy Phi members are able to learn other cultures through our mixers with other cultural clubs on campus, such as the Hawaii Club.
Little is known about the club's actual history or even if the club actually existed before the 1980's. However, it is believed that Troy Philippines became an integral part of the USC Community in the early 1900's. Under the name of "Troy Family", it was a place where people could hopefully feel a sense of worth, community, and most importantly, family.
As for Troy Phi's current history, the club has progressed over the past years. Membership has increased, the club's Pilipino-American Culture Nights have been phenomenal, there is an increased participation in community involvement, and had been able to win two Friendship Games titles, 1st and 2nd place.
Becoming a part of the Troy Phi family is easy. All you need is to pay your dues and you are set for the whole year. This includes interactive activities with other guests, sporting events, dance-oriented night gatherings, Thanksgiving and Christmas Celebrations, friendly competitions with other filipino organizations, the chance to be part of PACN, attend the annual formal, and much more.
