These are the three activities I've been involved with for the longest. I have been going to church since I was 3 years old, and became a confirmed member of the Presbyterian Church when I was 13. I competed in Artistic Roller Skating from 1985-1995 in the following events: Figures, Loops, Singles, and Dance. I made it to Nationals a total of five times (four times in Figures, three times in Loops, and once in Dance). I was involved with the National Teen Leadership Program as a participant in 1993, 1994, and 1995, and then a staffer in 1996 and I'm hoping to go back for more!

During my first year at USC, I was involved with the Emerging Leaders Program through Student Affairs, which is how I found out about Student Senate. I served as a Residence Hall Student Senator my Sophomore year (1996-1997).

I have stayed involved with Student Affairs throughout my years here at USC, and through this connection, was able to be the student representative on the Technology Team, which developed Your Portfolio. Your Portfolio is a web-based recording mechanism for students to store their academic and co-curricular information. It also serves as a exploratory guide - with lists of classes, clubs, and events that fall under one of the five areas (see picture to left).

During the Spring semester of my Sophomore year, I was accepted to take "The Art and Adventure of Leadership" class taught by USC President Dr. Steven Sample and Dr. Warren Bennis. It was through a project in this class that I became the founding Chair for the USC American Society for Quality.
