SWE-USC wins the Best Collegiate Section - Silver Award for the second year in a row!We are happy to announce that we recently won this honor again this past weekend at the SWE '09 Conference down in Long Beach.
Date Auction Committee -- Call for LeadersSWE is looking for members interested in planning this year's E-Week Date Auction! We are putting together a committee of enthusiastic SWEsters to put together Date Auction 2010. The Date Auction 2010 committee will be in charge of applying for funding, budgeting, and planning. SWE needs event planners, videographers, decorators, and, of course, engineers. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a popular SWE tradition and to show your leadership abilities. High Tea with Yahoo!Date: Friday, November 20th, 2009Come have tea with Yahoo. We will be eating little sandwiches, scones, and all your favorites during tea time. This is an informal setting to chat with Yahoo representatives and other SWE members!
Kayaking--Members RetreatDate: Saturday November 21st, 2009We will be spending the afternoon kayaking at Sunset Kayaks near Seal Beach (a little north of Huntington Beach). This event will be an active yet enjoyable time to spend with other SWE members. All SWE members are welcome.
