Toni Aubrecht Year: 2011 Major: Astronautical Engineering Zodiac: Capricorn Interest(s): I spend most of my time playing bass drum in The Greatest Band In The History Of the Universe aka the Trojan Marching Band where I go by my more popular name, Leela. Outside of drumming I also like to rock out to some good electronic music and dubstep while hanging out with my friends or playing with my baby kitten that I rescued. Her name is Alia, for those nerdy engineers who get the science fiction reference. I also love reading, especially novels by Stephen King. Random Fact: I have one eye. Yep, seriously. Dream Date: My dream date would start out with me being kidnapped out of one of my Astronautics classes by people screaming and throwing a bag over my head. Then I'd be transported to a fancy Italian restaurant where I'd dine with my captor while we reminisced about how much we hate the bruins. After that, we would go sky-diving near the coast or ride every roller coaster at Six Flags. The night would end only after we cuddled on one of our couches while watching a great science fiction movie like Pitch Black. Andrea Lawler Year: Sophomore/Freshman Major: Electrical Engineering and Writing for Screen and Television Zodiac: Virgo Interest(s): Listening to obscene amounts of music, cooking, writing like crazy, being glued to magazines, bicycle riding on the beach, learning phrases in various languages, challenging my dog to races. Random Fact: I was a semifinalist in the Miss California pageant this past year but resigned in order to be able to graduate on time with my two majors. Dream Date: I always love to try things that you can't find too often in the city - mini golf, visiting a local carnival, heading to a drive-in movie theater, or horseback riding. Special Talent: I have an encyclopedic memory for the most random facts about 80s and 90s pop culture. Best Pick Up Line: You are so selfish! Tsunaga Ichikawa Year: Freshman Major: Chemical Engineering Zodiac: Taurus Interest(s): I love to dance. I'm a hip hop dancer who is also interested in many different styles. I love music, both performance and listening. I don't perform anymore though I like sports too, I used to play baseball and run track, so I have special interest in those sports and I enjoy watching most sports too. I also love just relaxing, hanging out with friends and watching movies. Random Fact: I have an oddly shaped gash scar in my upper right thigh area. It happened in 5th grade because of my stupidity. It's always there to remind myself and others of how stupid I was/am sometimes. Dream Date: A girl who is physically attractive is always a plus. I like girls who are really considerate and like to have fun. If they wear Ralph Lauren perfume, I will probably fall in love. If their hair smells good too, I will definitely fall in love. Courtney Neilan Year: Junior Major: Civil Engineering Zodiac: Virgo Interest(s): writing, rock climbing, and witty banter. Random Fact: My favorite author is Salinger, yet I have a quote by John Steinbeck tattooed on my arm - go figure. Dream Date: The beach and roller coasters would be pretty good. Seriously, beach barbecues are simply the best! Special Talent: I can get a free burrito by fainting in the middle of Chipotle. Brandon Marin Year: Senior Major: Chemical Engineering Zodiac: Pisces Interest(s): Playing guitar, skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, anything physically enduring is fun. Random Fact: At the shooting range, I can shoot a hostage taker target in the head from 75 feet with any standard 9 mm handgun with 95% accuracy. (The 5% is just shooting off the ear instead). Dream Date: We travel back in time. I tame a tyrannosaurus rex with my awesomeness. Travel forward in time to modern day. Then I take her for a ride with my new t-rex. We go to nearest air force base, and the air force lets me borrow a F-22 fighter jet no questions asked. Me and her fly to Italy for dinner on beautiful villa. We fly back to air force base (hopefully t-rex is still there). Use time machine to drop t-rex off in Versailles, France circa 1789 to make the French Revolution more interesting. Random Fact: I live on one of the 10,000 lakes in Minnesota.
