SIA Committes:


There are 2 ways to join Spirits in Action:

1. Interested in a leadership position? We currently have 7 Executive Board positions available. Applications are due Friday, September 2nd and can be found online at the USC Application Clearinghouse.

2. Want to get involved in SIA as a general member? Great! Our organization has a lot of diverse committees that could use your help! Each committee plays an important role in helping the organization accomplish its goals. And we have fun doing it! Take a look at what each committee does and then fill out the form below to learn more about what it means to be a member and the committees you are interested in.

Please note that below are extremely BRIEF summaries just to give you an idea of what the committees are about, but do fill out the form to get more detailed information.

ACTIVITIES - Arrange athletic and carnival activities and how students will do everything.

ATHLETE RECRUITMENT - Maintains relationships with schools and gets them to attend SIA Day.

ENTERTAINMENT - Coordinates opening and closing ceremonies, music for event and lunch entertainment.

FOOD - Responsible for obtaining breakfast, lunch, and snack donations for 400 participants!

FUNDRAISING - Responsible for getting monetary sponsorship and planning fundraisers.

PUBLIC RELATIONS - In charge of all material related to Spirits In Action (promotional, etc.) and photography, and maintains website.

SECRETARY - Responsible for roster, minutes, weekly e-mail, and coordinating team building events.

VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT - Recruits members for the organization, recruits student volunteers for SIA Day, and acts as a liaison to the Greek community.
