Sarah Gehring

I am a Master’s Student in the GIST Program at the University of Southern California. Currently, I am a Supply Chain Business Analyst with Chevron Coorperation (2011-Current), where I provides strategic analysis to determine the future of the development of IT assets for supply chain. At Chevron I was also an IT Business Analyst (2006-2011) where I traveled internationally and provided training and analytical support for software implementations for a diverse set of stakeholders. I was involved in all aspects of a major software implementation from the initial idea through build, test, and deployment. I have completed six classes toward my degree and expects to graduate in 2013. I am interested in database and programming as it applies to GIS and spatial analysis.

Mud Run Fun!I have a passion for health and fitness. My favorite hobby is probably running so I suspect all my Web GIS assignments will revolve around running.  I track most of my outdoor runs with a GPS watch so I’m interested to see what I can do with that data and Web GIS. The snapshot below is from one of the 30+ races I have run over the past 2 years.

Just testing some things...
