I believe that learning is a process that
extends far beyond the parameters of the classroom. The setting
of the classroom is a formal learning environment that encourages and
enhances the quality of one's education, but it is only an elementary
step in the process of lifelong learning.
Every situation we encounter, every event
that occurs, provides us with the opportunity to learn from our
experiences, as well as from the experiences of others. We are
each responsible for our own learning, though, with the help of
teachers, leaders, and role models, we can be guided in discovering
and understanding more about the world.
"Who is wise? He who learns from
every man."
