I believe that a teacher's job is to make sure that their students know everything that they need to know and develop a confidence in themselves that will inspire them to achieve. My goal as a future teacher is that every student in my class not only learns all of the material and excels in their knowledge and education but also realizes a love for learning and a confidence in their own abilities. I am a strong believer in equality in education and knowing that every student can succeed if they are all given the opportunities and the motivation.

I want to be a teacher for younger students so that I can give them what they need to continue and be a successful student. Education is one of the most important things to have in life and I want to give children the right start to getting a good education. I feel that if I can really reach the students when they are younger then they will have the motivation they need to continue.

I am in the process of applying to be a Student Teacher. I hope to get into the program and to start getting some more hands on experience teaching. The experiences I have had so far in the classroom have been wonderful and have all taught me something different. I want to learn as much as I can in the next year to enable me to set out on my own and be the best teacher I can be.

"A teacher who is attempting to teach without inspiring the pupil with a desire to learn is hammering on a cold iron." - Horace Mann
