Sponsorship
The 2004 University of Southern
California Formula SAE entry is an
extracurricular educational project with no intrinsic source of income.
Sponsorship is therefore vitally important to the team’s participation
and success at the competition. The University of Southern
California Formula SAE team welcomes
contributions in any form. Sponsors are customarily awarded advertising
space on either our race trailer or on the Formula SAE Car. Benefits include:
- Tax deductible receipt
- Company logos are placed visibly on the vehicle, team apparel,
trailer, and all promotional correspondence
- University exposure
- Positive exposure to 25,000 students, 2,000 faculty, and alumni
from regular campus promotions, fund-raisers, articles in campus
newspaper (distribution: 15,000)
- Booth at Homecoming with over 15,000 direct impressions in one
day
- Good PR for companies who recruit on campus
- Reputation as a contributor to student projects
- Early access to quality engineering students
- Automotive enthusiast will see the team participating in Southern
California Regional SCCA Solo II events and displaying the car at
various trade shows and auto expositions (i.e., LA International Auto
Show & The Long Beach Grand Prix Auto Expo)
- The "Big Three" Auto Manufacturers jointly host the
annual Formula SAE event, and thus automotive related sponsors receive
extensive exposure to many potential customers
- Vehicle display at sponsors place of business or any trade show
the sponsor attends
The USC Formula SAE Team welcomes
