3/27/09 - Willow Springs Testing

- Acquainted freshmen with a new style of driving on the Willow Springs Balcony racetrack. Although Car #24 experienced unforeseen clutch issues, Car #20 ran strong for the majority of the day. While nearing the end, one driver inadvertently cracked the oil pan as they slid off the track into the dirt. Apart from this setback, we were impressed with the skill shown by most of the drivers at the track.
- The USC Engineering Week is an annual event designed to expose non-engineering majors and the local community to concepts of engineering. Through an interactive display, team members promoted SC Racing, their sponsors, and the field of automotive engineering to local students and visitors.
