Who we are
SC Racing is a student organization dedicated to designing and building an open-wheeled formula-style race car from scratch every year. The organization is a means of practically applying our engineering knowledge learned in school, to something physically tangible and exciting. No automotive or manufacturing experience is required, but all is welcome.
What we do
We compete as one of 80 teams in the Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) design competition at Fontana, CA every summer. We are comprised of multiple sub teams: The chassis team, powertrain team, Aero and composites team and the electronics team, all of which work together to build the best possible racecar.
Where we are located
The "Shop" is located on the ground floor of PSA (Parking Structure A), which is on the corner of Downey Way and McClintock Ave.
