Project Updates
........Welcome to SC Racing, the Formula SAE (FSAE) chapter at the University of Southern California. We are an entirely student run organization where we combine our knowledge and dedication to produce unique and competitive race cars.
3/25/09 - Completed the initial Solidworks frame design for the 2010 competition car.
4/4/09 - Finished the wood mock-up of the frame, noting adjustments needed to lock in the design.
4/9/09 - Modified the Solidworks frame design as needed and performed FEA
7/1/09 - Goodyear tires were chosen after comparing options.
7/15/09 - New engine was chosen. We will now be running a Yamaha R6 engine.
