NUKHET A. SANDAL is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of International Relations, University of Southern California. She has worked as a research associate in the Religion, Identity and Global Governance (RIGG) Project funded by The Henry Luce Foundation. Her research interests include religion and international affairs, politics of divided societies and international relations theory. Sandal is serving as one of the editors of the ENMISA volume of the ISA Compendium Project. Her article "Religion and International Relations Theory: Towards a Mutual Understanding" (co-authored with Patrick James) is forthcoming in European Journal of International Relations.
