Last Tuesday in Rome!
7/8

Tuesday was the first day of our group project presentations. My group had been chosen to go on Wednesday, so Tuesday was our chance to relax and listen to the other groups. The first presentation was about rooftop gardens and how these could be implemented at USC as they are in Italy. The second was about creating an Italian-themed residence on campus that would educate students about the Italian culture and the many cost-effective and eco-friendly features often found in Italian housing. Both presentations were very good and set the bar high for our presentation. We got out early since only two groups presented and I believe we had calzones for lunch for the last time – delicious as always.

After lunch, we went back to the Accent center for ISE. We had another long class, but it was worth it to not have class on Thursday. It was our last day of lecture, which was a huge relief, and then all that was left was one more quiz. We walked home after class and I spent most of the afternoon and evening practicing and preparing for my presentation. My section was about the implementation of our proposal and who would benefit from it, so I still had some research to do regarding methods of implementation. I also spent some time working on our written report, which was to be due the week after we left Rome (but we all knew it would be hard to work on it once we arrived home).

For dinner we either had pizza or pasta, and Matt joined us again, this time for his actual birthday. We hung out for awhile and then he headed back to his hostel, since he had to leave the next day. I believe that was it for my last Tuesday in Rome, and I made sure to get a good night’s rest before my presentation.
