Hosted Tournaments On December 3, 2005, 17 teams braved the madness that is the USC/UCLA game (66-19, woo hoo!) to compete in Trojan Wars III. After seeding the teams into the Achilles and Ajax brackets, with 9 and 8 teams, respectively. After a full round robin in each division, the top 3 teams in each division were sent to the top playoff bracket, the next 3 teams in each division to the middle bracket, and the remaining teams to the bottom bracket. For the playoffs, each team played the teams in the other morning divison, so no teams had a rematch. Upon the completion of the playoff rounds, Amelia had a clear victory with a record of 11-0. Santa Monica A finished with a record of 9-1, and Torrey Pines with a record of 9-2. Since they played a different number of rounds in the morning, it was deemed most fair to apply a head-to-head tiebreaker to determine second place, which went to Santa Monica A, as they defeated Torrey Pines in a playoff match.
