What do all of those crazy splash images mean?

There are ten splash images (the images on the entry page) total (so far). Each image is a manipulation of Meg's official logo. Here is an explanation of what they represent:

Does USC Quiz Bowl Dream of Electric Sheep?: A pun on Philip K. Dick's science fiction novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, on which the movie Blade Runner was based. The images are from the movie.

To buzz or not to buzz...: The original quote is from Shakespeare's Hamlet: "To be or not to be?" The purple guy is Shakespeare himself.

I QuizBowlicus: It's supposed to be Latin, but isn't. Caesar makes an appearance.

Got QuizBowl?: The oh-so-popular, frequently punned catch-phrase concoction of America's Dairy Farmers.

Save the Buzzers: A take on all the bumper stickers proclaiming "Save the Dolphins" or "Save the Whales" or even "Save the Humans".

What is QuizBowl?: The Matrix has us...

Never Underestimate the Power of QuizBowl: From Star Wars - "Never underestimate the power of the dark side."

Chia QuizBowl: Our own take on that quirky Christmas-esque gift.
