Frequently Asked Questions What is Quiz Bowl? Quiz Bowl is an academic competition consisting of two teams of four players. Each player has a buzzer, and when the moderator (think Alex Trebek-ish a la Jeopardy) reads a toss-up question, the first person to buzz in and give the correct answer wins the toss-up for his/her team. The reward for correctly answering a toss-up is a bonus question, on which the four members of the team can collaborate. However, if the person that buzzed in first answers incorrectly, the toss-up is given to the other team to answer, and if they don't get, then well, no soup for you! Basically, it's fun!!!!!
