The mission of this unique group is:

~ Social Networking ~ Visibility and Event Programming ~ Scholarly Programming ~
~ Community Building ~ Allies Training ~

"To create a welcoming environment within the Annenberg School for Communication for ASC students, faculty, staff, and alumni interested in supporting and/or who identify with marginalized gender communities. FAQ@Annenberg will work to heighten tolerance, visibility and knowledge of these communities through various networking events, scholarly and social programming, and other community building activities. In keeping with ASC directives, the group's activities will work to create within the culture of Annenberg and for the University at large a place where diversity of identity is celebrated and cutting-edge conversations are encouraged."

-FAQ@A's first event of the semester-- a fun, dishy chat with Stuart Timmons, co-author of "Gay LA: A History of Sexual Outlaws, Power Politics, and Lipstick Lesbians," was a smashing success with standing room only. Details of the event are in the archive.
-The "fucla" shirts were one thing, the "uclgay" shirts were another. Read about the reactions of USC's GLBTA and the USC community in this Daily Trojan article.
-USC was recognized as one of top 20 campuses for LGBT students. For details, read the article in the Daily Trojan.
