Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology, founded
in 1929 for the purpose of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence
in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology.
We also strive to advance the science of psychology. USC has its own chapter,
and we want YOU to join! Go to the membership page
to learn how.
Since 1929 Psi Chi has become one of the largest honor
societies with over 940 chapters throughout the United States. Membership is
open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of
psychology one of their major interests and who meet the minimum qualifications
of scholarship. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies
(ACHS) and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and
the American Psychological Society (APS).
