Arun Kumar Poruri
Hello! Wecome to the cover page of my four page website. I shall keep this sweet and short. I received my Electronics Engineering Degree from University of Pune, India. Shortly after that, I started working as a Consultant Software Engineer at Motorola India Electronics Ltd before I reached the University of Southern California to do my Masters in Electrical Engineering. I recently graduated from USC and am now working as a Video Analytics Software Engineer. This is precisely my focal point of activity these days. The endless nights at the university have in fact come to an end. And I am guessing I left the coffee machines crying for money :)
Studies and work apart, I love music. I chew and digest a song before I move on to the next one. Lately I have been listening to Electronic and Ambient music. I play a bit of guitar, piano and the harmonica. I also love to play Cricket. And of course, I enjoy travelling. I am not too much into reading books. But, I do pen down my spontaneous thoughts occasionally.
Creativity (One of those attacks of Spontaneity):

Let us say god does not play dice with the universe. Also, If we think of luck as the residue of design, probability must have crept in through the flaws in god's design. A flaw in god's design does not sound very nice. So, Probability should be our creation. And we use it whenever we find ourselves incapable of solving a problem using deterministic approaches due to lack of necessary tools.
