I completed my Ph.D in July 2010 from the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California. My doctoral advisors were Maged Dessouky and Fernando Ordóñez. I obtained my Masters degree in Operations Research from USC in 2005, and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2003.
During my doctoral studies, I was awarded the Doctoral Disseration Fellowship award by the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation for the 2009-2010 academic year. Details on the award can be found here. I was also awarded the 2008-09 Outstanding Teaching Assistant by the Epstein Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering.
