AROHE Web Development -- Project Manager and Requirements Engineer for the team.

  • Responsible for planning and execution of the project life cycle and project cost estimation.
  • Developed strategies for Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) models like Agile, Waterfall, V-Model.
  • Responsible for risk assessment and preparation of mitigation plans for developing a new website for AROHE with increased features and functionality.
  • Created and maintained project documentation such as requirements specifications, operational concepts and life cycle planning.
  • Designed component based models with Unified Modeling Language (UML) using Rational Software Modeler.
  • Involved in designing the GUI, optimizing graphic and navigational elements using PHP to represent client’s style and migration of the database from MS Access to MYSQL.

Universal Code Counter – Directed Research under Prof. Barry Boehm
  • Developed feature to convert the current output of the code counter to .DAT format in Visual Studio. Attended weekly scrum meetings for setting goals and reporting project status.

Computer Graphics – L-Systems Implementation
  • Visualized, simulated and generated 3-D models of plants, trees and other fractal forms using VC++ and OpenGL to create realistic images of modeled structures for animation and games.

Spatial Database Application
  • Created USC Transit system using JAVA and Oracle DBMS. Developed an ORDBMS that allows a user to find the location of trams, students, stops and various routes on USC map. Utilized Oracle data types, Mysql & SQLplus to query the database.

UNIX Socket Programming
  • Simulated a self-organizing network of stand-alone mobile nodes in a race to find a target in a Client/Server environment using UNIX Sockets in C/C++ using TCP and UDP Sockets.

Network Simulations using OPNET
  • Local Area Networks such as Ethernet (Both Shared and Switched) and Routing Algorithms including RIP and OSPF were simulated and their performances were evaluated.

Network Protocol Analysis using Wireshark "Ethereal"
  • Protocols included DHCP, DNS, HTTP and SSL.

Simulated a CDMA Transceiver using Matlab7.0 and Simulink
