AROHE Web Development -- Project Manager and Requirements Engineer for the team.
- Responsible for planning and execution of the project life cycle and project cost estimation.
- Developed strategies for Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) models like Agile, Waterfall, V-Model.
- Responsible for risk assessment and preparation of mitigation plans for developing a new website for AROHE with increased features and functionality.
- Created and maintained project documentation such as requirements specifications, operational concepts and life cycle planning.
- Designed component based models with Unified Modeling Language (UML) using Rational Software Modeler.
- Involved in designing the GUI, optimizing graphic and navigational elements using PHP to represent client’s style and migration of the database from MS Access to MYSQL.
Universal Code Counter – Directed Research under Prof. Barry Boehm
- Developed feature to convert the current output of the code counter to .DAT format in Visual Studio. Attended weekly scrum meetings for setting goals and reporting project status.
Computer Graphics – L-Systems Implementation
- Visualized, simulated and generated 3-D models of plants, trees and other fractal forms using VC++ and OpenGL to create realistic images of modeled structures for animation and games.
Spatial Database Application
- Created USC Transit system using JAVA and Oracle DBMS. Developed an ORDBMS that allows a user to find the location of trams, students, stops and various routes on USC map. Utilized Oracle data types, Mysql & SQLplus to query the database.
Web Technologies
- Created a mash-up between Google maps and Flickr using AJAX and JAVASCRIPT. To implement a Google Maps interface to the Flickr public image database, a combination of HTML, JavaScript and Java Servlet programs was used.
- Created a web site using PERL SCRIPTING and JAVASCRIPT to provide a visitor the ability to compare “Sponsored Links” and “Sponsored Sites” from Google.com and Live.com, for a particular search query.
UNIX Socket Programming
- Simulated a self-organizing network of stand-alone mobile nodes in a race to find a target in a Client/Server environment using UNIX Sockets in C/C++ using TCP and UDP Sockets.
Network Simulations using OPNET
- Local Area Networks such as Ethernet (Both Shared and Switched) and Routing Algorithms including RIP and OSPF were simulated and their performances were evaluated.
Network Protocol Analysis using Wireshark "Ethereal"
- Protocols included DHCP, DNS, HTTP and SSL.
Simulated a CDMA Transceiver using Matlab7.0 and Simulink
