I am currently doing my Masters at the University of Southern California in Computer Science and expect to receive my degree in May 2010. I did my Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunication from Watumull Institute affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

During my undergraduate years, I learned various electronics phenomena and the different techniques involved in the field of telecommunications. During this time, i also learned programming languages like C and C++ and web technologies like HTML and CSS. I have always been fond of programming and the logic that goes into developing programs. It was because of this fondness that i decided to do my Masters in Computer Science. After my undergraduation, I was considered worthy enough to be employed by HSBC Global Technology as a software engineer to be associated with a project which is the single largest implementation across the globe. Along with valuable insight into the corporate world, the experience developed in me a cooperative nature, positive attitude and the ability to shoulder any given responsibility.

I was also a lecturer at the Watumull Institute, teaching sophomores the subject Principles of Communication Systems. I feel that this six month long experience has been very fruitful to me as I gained a lot of confidence and valuable experience as a public speaker.

On the personal front, I am a very outgoing and I love meeting new people and making new friends. Perfectionist, positive, and passionate-thats me in a nutshell.
I also love watching movies, Titanic, Jurassic Park and The Dark Knight being my all time favorites, because each of these movies makes you believe that what you are seeing cannot be unreal. Each of these movies had marks of brilliance in them, either in the form of story writers, directors or central characters.

My family is my greatest source of strength and my parents are the anchors of my life, who have been there for me at every single pitfall in my life to help me carry on. My younger brother is the apple of my eye and he too like me is very interested in computer science. My biggest dream is to make my parents very proud of me one day.
