About Me

¡¡

I am a freshman at the University of Southern California and am pursuing a B.A. in Theater and Education.  I was drawn to USC because of my passion for acting, USC¡¯s exemplary Theater program, and that California sun.

In high school, I was some what of a Jack-of-all-Trades: Student Council officer, National Honor Society officer, Theater Club member, avid English, Physics, and History student, as well as computer lab tutor, choir singer, and dancer.  I won a city wide award for Best Comic Actress for my performance as Haversham in The Butler Did It as well as three awards in City and State levels for my lead part as Angela in The King Stag.  I have also acted in A Midsummer Night¡¯s Dream, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Guys and Dolls.  I have organized and assisted in a child¡¯s theater camp, pep rallies, and talent competitions at my high school.  I have also served as a science fair judge for several local elementary schools.  I enjoyed helping my mother teach her students, the classes ranging from 3rd-5th grade writing and reading programs to Pre-K classes.

My hobbies include sewing clothes, skiing in Minnesota, singing into my hairbrush, reading books, watching independent films, and playing hide-and-seek with my kitten Pixie.
