What began as a leadership project by a group of literature enthusiasts in President Sample's seminar in 1999 has now become a literary/artistic magazine that supports all majors, minors, and interests in both the staff it encompasses and the works it publishes! Twice a year, Paláverers/ians/ites collect the creative musings of the student body and publish a selection of them in a professional, but liberal, all-student magazine.
Prose, poetry, screenplays, drawings, paintings, photographs, and architecture works are just a sampling of what Paláver publishes biannually (one issue per semester). Pick up a copy of the latest issue at the university bookstore!
As one of USC's premiere creative and literary journals, Paláver aims not only to bring recognition to the expressive culture of the students at USC, but also to provide a setting for all students across all majors/years to congregate under the name of Literature and Art.
Kevin Biggers, former Chieftain of Literary Folk, supplies some answers to your FAQs.
Do slip into something a little more comfortable then come back. We update!
Magazines are sold in the USC Bookstore!
