Black-and-white and/or color images of your work
Must be reproducible at 300dpi to fit on a letter size page.
**The better you reproduce your work, the better chance you have at getting published
To submit digitally, send an email to palaver@usc.edu, with the subject line reading "Art Submission(s): [Your Name]". Attach your files in a .JPG format, at about 150dpi, and reproducible on a letter size page (8.5" x 11").
Note: These "thumbnails" will not be the same as what we print in the magazine. When you scan your work, you should save as a 300dpi .TIF file. Should your work be published, we will request this original .TIF file. In the meantime, we require that you save a copy as a .JPG at a lower resolution when submitting to Paláver, as the .TIF files are too large to receive in volume by email.
In the body of the email, include the following information:
Name
Major
Year
Title(s) of Submission(s)
Medium & Dimensions of Submission(s)
To submit hard copies of your work, please use our Watt Hall Drop Box (the Robox of Love outside of WAH 103). DO NOT give us your originals. Submit a good copy of your piece, submit photographic prints or slides, or drop off a CD of your digital files. Along with your submissions, include a cover sheet with the above information. Do send an email to notify us that you've dropped off your work for pickup.
