I'm a PhD student in Linguistics at the University of Southern California. I am mainly interested in semantics, morpho-syntax, and the syntax-semantics interface, and my advisor is Hagit Borer.

My first screening was in Semantics, namely the semantics of the Semitic Construct State. My committee members were Hagit Borer, Elena Guerzoni, and Barry Schein as chair. The paper will be uploaded soon.

My second screening paper is in Syntax, namely the syntax of the DP, and mass/count distinction. My committee members are Hagit Borer as chair, Audrey Li, and Roumyana Pancheva.

I am also interested in Phonology, and Theoretical computer science, especially Theory of computation.
I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communications Engineering at the American Univesity of Beirut in 2007.

I am from Lebanon. More specifically, from Tripoli. If you understand Arabic, Tripolitan 101 can be fun.
