Allison Oulton

Hello all!

My name is Allison Oulton. This is my final semester of the Master's program at USC, which I am completing from Chagrin Falls, OH. I graduated from Kent State University with a B.S. in Conservation with a minor in Geography, through which I was first exposed to GIS. This sparked my interest in its use for natural resource conservation, as well as the potential for public health assessments. As the natural trend reflects the demand for public access to GIS and community aided planning, developing Web GIS skills is essential to GIS professionals in any field. I hope to apply these skills to city planning and community health projects that I plan to encounter in my career. I have not worked on any Web GIS projects in the past, but I look forward to learning these skills and discovering its many potential applications.

I look forward to working with you all this semester!
Allison
