Hello! My name is Azadeh Tavari. I am a junior majoring in Neuroscience, with a minor in Craniofacial and Dental Technology. I am from the San Fernando Valley (aka "The Valley") in Los Angeles. I am also part of Delta Delta Sigma, the Pre-dental honors society, and am working with the USC Dental School's faculty practice. I am very interested in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and plan to open a practice after dental school. I love listening to all types of foreign music (especially Persian), playing basketball, traveling, and watching Disney movies.

Hi friends! My name is Letisha and I am a first year student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program. I was born and raised in Northern California and earned my BS from UC Davis in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior as well as a Minor in Music. My primary interest is in the science of addiction and I am currently working in the Alcohol and Brain Research Lab on the Health Science Campus. Our lab studies the effects of alcohol on the central nervous system and we hope, in time, to develop therapeutic agents to combat alcoholism. After I graduate I plan to work in academia. When I'm not spending my days in lab I enjoy seeing new movies, cooking, and going out with friends. I was a cheerleader at UC Davis (and most of my life), so I also like to spend my free time dancing and tumbling.
