About Us

USC Nu Rho Psi is the University of Southern California’s neuroscience honor society established for the purposes of fostering leadership, intellectual development, and recognizing scholastic achievement in the study of neuroscience. We aim to advance the interdisciplinary study of neuroscience and increase awareness within the USC community; by creating programs that stimulate academic and professional growth in all facets of neuroscience.

USC Nu Rho Psi  Events are open to all undergraduate and graduate students who share an interest in learning more about neuroscience.

Megan Lambert is a junior majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. She is originally from San Jose, CA, but loves the sunshine of Southern California. After graduation, she plans to purse a Ph.D. in Psychology, and hopes to integrate Psychology and Neuroscience in her future career.

Hi everyone! I'm a senior from Diamond Bar, California. I'm pursuing a Neuroscience major with a Bioethics minor, and I plan to enter Pharmacy School in the fall.

I'm a senior from Peachtree City, Georgia. In my free time, I enjoy fencing, as well as playing the piano, tenor saxophone, and ukulele. In addition to my work with Nu Rho Psi, I enjoy promoting youth interest in neuroscience through my involvement with the Los Angeles Brain Bee, as well as promoting undergraduate research as Director of Public Relations for the international research publication, the Journal of Young Investigators. Following graduation with a neuroscience major, I plan to enroll in a Medical Scientist Training Program in order to pursue a career as a neurosurgeon and implantable devices researcher.

Hi, my name is Allyson. I am from Portland, Oregon, and am a senior here at USC. I am earning a neuroscience major and a minor in forensics and criminality. In my free time, I play at basketball and football games as a member of the Spirit of Troy, USC's marching band. I also enjoy teaching science to local elementary school students and writing for the USC Undergraduate Science Journal. After graduation, I am going to begin my applications to medical school to become a pediatric neurologist.

Liz is a junior working on a major in Neuroscience and minors in Global Health and Spanish. She is also Pre-Med and hopes to be a Pediatrician in the future. She is from Palos Verdes, California and has two older brothers and two older sisters. She is involved in many clubs on campus and in addition to her executive board position in Nu Rho Psi, she has positions in Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Med Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, Interaxon, and USC Public Health Brigades.
