TRANSNATIONAL RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES: CAODAI, HOA HAO BUDDHISM, AND DAO MAU Starting May 2008, I will assist my adivser, Janet Hoskins, with her research project "Ethnic Resilience" and Indigenous Religion: A Transnational Perspective on Vietnamese Immigrant Congregations in California. This is a two-year study funded by the National Science Foundation. It entails data collection on three Vietnamese religious communities in California and Vietnam. I intend to develop my dissertation from this study, complementing it with data on similar religous communities in Australia.
