2007 - 2008 activities included:
* Iron Chef, one of the first events of the year, encouraged participants to express their creative flair as groups competed to create the most sumptuous dish possible using the secret ingredient, rice.
* Socials such as INC picnic and Meltdown (log in to facebook first), our annual clubbing event, hosted by the Intercollegiate Nikkei Council. INC is your connection to all the Nikkei groups on different college campuses.

Car Rally- Little Tokyo Friendship Knot
* Day of Remembrance week is one jam-packed week of events focusing on Japanese American internment during World War II. The highlight of the week was the film screening of Tadashi Nakamura's "Pilgrimage" (log in to facebook first).
* Yaki Night: Participants chowed down on "yaki" food like teriyaki and okonomiyaki.
* This year we had our very first culture show: "In Progress," which focused on the many different types of Japanese Americans. Visit the CN page for more information on how to become involved in skit, taiko, traditional dance, or KBD (hip-hop dance).

* Leadership conferences such as "Revisions" in Little Tokyo.

* Volunteering at Chibi-K, a 1-K run for children and card-making for Keiro (log in to facebook first), a Japanese American retirement home.
2006 - 2007 activities included:
* Weekend trip to Manzanar, a former Japanese-American incarceration camp
* Volunteering at events such as the Chibi-K Run and the Go For Broke Foundation's 'Evening of Aloha'
* Campus education efforts, especially our Day of Remembrance which involved not only a documentary screening/talk open to the public, but a student-made presentation on display at Tommy Trojan
* Social activities such as a ski-trip to Big Bear and a weekender to San Francisco during the USC-Stanford football game
* Intercampus activities with other Nikkei organizations so members get a chance to meet students from other schools, such as the annual intercampus clubbing event, Meltdown
* Activities integral to the Nikkei community such as bowling, a popular sport within the Nikkei community, and karaoke
