Mission, Vision and Purpose

Our Mission, Vision, & Purpose

Our Mission The mission of the USC College Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to improve the political, educational, social and economic status of people of color; to eliminate racial prejudice; and to keep the USC community aware of the existence of racial discrimination and its adverse effects.

Our Purpose
We exist because racism still subjugates people of color around the world and we understand that all people are personally responsible for doing what they can to eliminate the suffering of others. In order to fulfill the goals of improving the political, educational, social and economic status of people of color we:

  • Encourage participation in the political process
  • Improve the access to quality education
  • Promote equal representation in all areas of society
  • Optimize the economic actions of minorities.

Our Vision The Vision of the USC College Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to create a society where each person has equal opportunities and lives free from racism.
