Personal Background I was born and raised in the beautiful Aloha State, otherwise known as Hawaii. Until leaving for college, I lived in Honolulu for my whole life with my parents, younger brother and younger sister. Growing up in Hawaii was always a lot of fun. I spent a lot of time with my friends and family. At home, I love to go to the beach, go shopping, spend time with family and friends, eat good food and relax by the pool. I also am very passionate about dancing Hula. I have spent countless hours at my hula studio and have made life-long friends there. Another thing I really enjoy doing is designing and making clothes; whenever I have free time, I love to sketch new designs and sew. Although I love the warm weather and sunshine in Hawaii, I also love traveling to new places. I have been to many different places across America, China and France. Traveling is always an eye-opening experience for me, and if I could, I would travel every weekend. One thing I look forward to every winter is snowboarding, another favorite pastime and since there is no snow in Hawaii, I travel to Oregon, Colorado or California to snowboard. Educational Background I attended elementary school at Hanahau’oli in Honolulu from Kindergarten to Sixth grade. Then I went to Punahou School from Seventh to Twelfth grade. After graduating from Punahou, I came to the University of Southern California where I am majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Education and the Pluralistic Society. Currently, I am part of the Hawaii Club and the ALD Honors Society. After graduating from USC, I would like to attend fashion school. I plan to graduate with a Business Degree, and hopefully one day start my own business merging my business knowledge with my love for fashion design. |
