DT Wed, Mar 22, 2006 Senate denies proposed Greek program committee
In a decision that some Greek leaders said polarized the Greek, commuter and residential communities, Senate rejected a resolution to form a Greek Programming Committee Tuesday. The resolution, authored by Greek Senator Merrianne Fermanian and Greek Senator-Elect Sagar Patel, would have established a committee to fill the void of the Greek community's funding and programming needs created by the dissolution of the Greek Student Assembly.

DT Thu, Aug 25, 2005 Latino Interest Group Formed
La Unidad Latina is beginning their first full semester of existence as an affiliate member of the Multi-Cultural Greek Council this semester. Last spring the interest group was placed into affiliate member status, which may allow them to become the fourth Latino-focused fraternity at USC.

DT Fri, Jan 21, 2005 Spring Rush Gives Students Chance to Settle
Many students looking to join the Greek system said they planned on rushing this spring instead of last fall, citing concerns about adjusting to USC, keeping up with schoolwork and getting to know Greek members better during last semester. After a semester of settling down, students said they are looking to get involved in campus organizations, form friendships outside of the residence halls and make alumni connections.
