MY name is David McField and as a graduate student my life revolves around graduate school. Since 1985 I have been working with computers and the Internet. I started by learning Pascal and C on Unix workstations. Later in the early 90's I got involved with PC’s and Macs. Now I have taken my "hobby" and put it to work.

I work for the University of Southern California for the Center for Scholarly Technology with the project development team. I Work with multi-media programs (e.g. Flash, Dreamweaver, Live Motion, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and DVD studio pro), databases (MySQL and Filemaker), a variety of scripting languages like PHP, and APACHE server administration. I also help create web pages for USC and teach Scholars how to use Technology and the web to improve education and research. As a member of the Blackboard team I conduct campus wide work shops through out the year that teach professors and their departments how to best utilize our Blackboard software. I also contract out my services for different multimedia and computer projects that catch my interest. I have a soft spot for Macs and especially OsX. To contact me you can email me at mcfield@usc.edu

As a grad student I am getting my doctoral degree in counseling psychology. As a student I conduct therapy with clients, attend classes, and love to do both quantitative and qualitative research. I have presented at a few conferences and with luck will have a few publications by the end of next year. I also just got married!

Yes, it is avery busy and hectic life but variety is the spice of life!
