as a ph.d. candidate in economics at the university of southern california, I have been working on my dissertation lately which is on understanding and explaining the puzzle of labor force participation of women in Iran.
my main fascination with economics is in development economics, labor economics, and applied econometrics, but my past work covers finance and microeconomic theory as well.
