Join Law Students for Choice on October 18 and November 8th to call voters to educate them on the effects of Proposition 73.
Proposition 73 seeks to amend the California Constitution to require physicians to notify the legal guardian or parent of a minor seeking an abortion, at least 48 hours in advance of the abortion. Physicians who violate this notification requirement will be liable for civil damages.
Though parents rightfully want to know, the safety of teenagers who may be abused, frightened, or otherwise deterred by obtaining a safe abortion is more important.
