About Michele:

Michele Lee received a B.S. in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. As an undergraduate, she worked in Professor Francesco Stellacci's group researching the effect of nanoparticle ligand shell morphology on the rate of catalysis reactions. In 2009, she worked at E Ink Corporation designing a series of experiments to alter surface chemistry of ink pigments used in electrophoretic display devices. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science at the University of Southern California. Her research in Professor Andrea Armani's group focuses on polymer synthesis and the integration of optically active nanoparticles in thin films.

Armani Research Group

In the lab of Professor Andrea M. Armani at USC, we conduct multidisciplinary research that integrates the fields of optics, chemistry, and biology to develop applications in biodetection and integrated optical circuits.
